His Millionaire Maid

About

As far as Nina Beaumont is concerned, money ruins everything. Leave it to her wealthy family to screw up her professional life and her personal life. When she crashes and her car sinks, sending her identification and all her belongings spiraling into the watery abyss, Nina sees her chance to escape.

And stumbles into a job with the hottest man she’s ever met…as his maid.

Between running an inn, caring for his grandmother, and trying to keep the dirty-dealing Beaumont Corporation from stealing his land, Joe Farina's plate is full. He doesn't have time for romantic entanglements—especially not with the suspiciously bad maid he just hired, no matter how much he needs her…both in and out of his bed.

Screwing with her life is one thing, but Nina’s not about to let her family screw with Joe. That is, if she doesn’t lose him when he finds out who she really is.

My Review

Another new author that I have discovered.

This is the story of Nina who is the heiress to her dad’s millionaire business however at the beginning of the book is growing restless of her life style and dreams of something other than working for her dad. When she crashed her BMW she sees an opportunity to gain taste of life where people don’t treat her different because of her money. Nina ends up and B&B and bar and working for Joe. There is an instant attraction between Nina and Joe however Joe is trying to find funding to get his new B&B off the ground however Nina’s dad is trying to stop him because he wants to land. What will happen when Joe learns of Nina’s real identity?

This was a fun sweet romance read. I really liked both of the characters, I loved that Nina showed she is not scared of hard work and willing to help Joe with his business and village events.  It was a fairly quick read but it had a good pace and flowed really well. I routing for both Nina and Joe throughout the story. There was also good chemistry and banter between the characters. The only little point that bothered me was when Nina’s dad came to find her. I thought she might have stood up for herself more than she did, it took her while to find her backbone. It just felt like her dad treated her like a school kid who was late home.

Overall a fun, sweet romance story.
